About Us

What began with small jobs and carpentry work has grown into a company trusted with custom homes and major renovations for clients who expect a higher level of care, coordination, and execution.

North Eastern Trade Services was built, not inherited. Founder David Riquinha came up through early carpentry jobs and long days on job sites, shaping the company around the standards he believed in from the beginning.

That field-earned perspective still shapes the business today, carrying through in the standards of the work.

Our clients are treated like family

“When you work with us, you're working with a team guided by firsthand experience, practical judgment, and a clear understanding of what holds up over time.”

-David Riquinha

Standards

Your project should be built on more than minimum expectations. Best practices are our baseline. In many cases, our work goes further, with added care taken in the details you may never fully see but will benefit from for years to come.

Honesty

You should be able to trust the advice you are getting. That means being clear about what is worth investing in, where additional cost adds real value, and where it does not.

Execution

Well-run projects depend on more than good intentions. They depends on careful planning, clear coordination, and a standard that remains consistent from the first decision through the final detail.

The truth is

...we don't do much marketing.

The work has been what's earned the trust and referrals of business leaders, professional athletes, and families who value discretion, clear communication, and long-term relationships.

That way of working is what makes clients feel like family long after their project is complete.

Careers at NETS

We’re looking for more than skill alone. The right people bring strong character, a solid work ethic, and a genuine commitment to treating customers and coworkers well. We value people who are motivated, take pride in what they do, and share our drive to deliver an exceptional finished product. In return, we’ve built a close-knit, supportive culture where good people can do great work together.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

“My wife and I have worked with Dave Riquinha for several years on various projects. Dave completely remodeled our home on Cape Cod and turned it into a beautiful place to live. He is trustworthy, honest, and fair, and guided us through the project from start to finish. We have recommended Dave and his crew to several friends and family members, all of whom have been completely satisfied with the quality of their work.”

“Large-scale renovations can feel overwhelming, but Dave brought a sense of structure and calm to the entire process that immediately put us at ease.”

“There were no surprises—only thoughtful updates and honest conversations. That level of transparency is rare and made a huge difference in our overall experience.”

“At every stage of the project, he kept us informed, answered questions promptly, and walked us through decisions in a way that made us feel confident and involved.”
